HCLM is starting a High School Book Club in Term 2! Reading is one of the most beneficial things students can do to improve their academic experience.
Students will be provided with a Book Club Kit - including the book chosen for the term. All Book Club participants will be encouraged to read their book independently and attend two meetings.
Our first meeting will be mid-way through the term. Students will enjoy a delicious morning tea provided and discuss their impressions of the book so far. The main event will be our second meeting, held towards the end of the term. This will be a delicious lunch with guided discussion on the book to really dive deeply into the novel.
Students are expected to have completed the entire novel by the second meeting.
To participate in Book Club, please purchase one ticket per student.
All students from 7-10 are encouraged to participate in Book Club and continue to develop their love of reading.
