2025 Primary Bike Club Ticket - Term 1

Book a ticket so your child can enjoy after school mountain bike coaching to Primary school students! One Ticket will need to be purchased for each student who will be attending.

The coach will be Sarah from "Momentum is your Friend", who is a qualified coach certified by both the MTBA and the PMBI (the leading global professional mountain bike skills instructors). 

Sessions will be held at Awaba MTB Park - Students will be transported to Awaba with their bike by school bus and will be required to be collected by parents from Awaba at 4:30pm:

• After school 3:30-4:30pm

• Feb 13th, Feb 20th, Feb 27th, March 6th, March 13th, March 20th, April 3rd, April 10th (Please Note: No a paid Club will not happen the week of the School Musical + First Week of school will be an at school FREE Session that you can join)

There will be 8 sessions in Term 1 for Primary students at a cost of $80 for the term (there will be no refund for missed lessons).

Students will be required to bring each week:

• Bike in good working order (bike must be suitable for cross country riding and fitted with mountain bike tyres. Touring or semi-slick tyres are not suitable.)
• Helmet (compulsory of course)
  
• Afternoon tea & Water
  
• MTB Gloves (recommended but not compulsory)
  
• Change of Clothes suitable for riding a bike (does not need to be school sports uniform as you will need to wear it to school the next day).

Skills learned will include the following to start, and will progress to more advanced skills as required by the group.

• Correct body positions
  
• Braking and Gear selection
  
• Basic Cornering
• Balance and control
• Handling small obstacles
