Term 3 – Primary Mountain Bike Club  - $80

Heritage College Lake Macquarie is excited to continue our Primary Mountain Bike Club, giving students the opportunity to develop their riding skills through weekly coaching at school and local trails.

Please specify at check-out who you are purchasing club tickets for.

Program Details

Dates: Thursday afternoons throughout Term 3 (excluding the first and last week of term)
Time: 3:10 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: HCLM Campus and Awaba MTB Park (location confirmed weekly)
Who Can Join? Primary students who can confidently ride a bike
Hosted by: Sarah-Jane Rosenbaum, Sarah Booth, Mrs Louise Ginn 

Students must bring:

• Bike suitable for cross-country riding

• Helmet (compulsory)

• Water

• Afternoon tea

• Suitable riding clothes

• MTB gloves (recommended)

Students must already be able to ride and have a safe, working bike. This is not a learn-to-ride program.

Skills Students Will Learn

🚵 Correct riding position
⚙️ Braking and gear selection
↩️ Cornering techniques
⚖️ Balance and bike control
🪨 Riding over small obstacles

Weekly locations depend on weather and transport availability, with parents advised each week regarding pick-up arrangements.
