Learn the art of crafting delicious espresso-based coffees! This hands-on training guides you through every step - from grinding beans and extracting smooth espresso shots to steaming milk and crafting popular café-style beverages. You'll build the skills and confidence needed to consistently prepare and serve high-quality coffee.
Also, gain essential knowledge to uphold food safety and protect customer health. This training equips you with practical skills in personal hygiene, safe food handling, effective cleaning and sanitising procedures, and hazard identification - key competencies for maintaining a safe and compliant food service environment.
AND
Prior to class, complete the theory online at your own pace with interactive modules and multiple-choice assessments. Then, complete face-to-face class to master espresso, milk texturing, machine use - plus key skills in hygiene, food handling, cleaning, and hazard identification.
As this course is a Nationally Recognised Qualification and students will receive a certificate of completion. To get this certificate, a USI will be needed, please create a USI at usi.gov.au if your child does not already have one.
The face to face course is a one day program (we have 2 days booked, allowing for 10 students per day to attend). We will be travelling to Islington for this course and we will be out all day. Days would be either Friday 24th or 31st July.
Sports uniform to be worn this day to allow for mobility. Please note: Students must wear enclosed shoes or boots.
